Coaching Creators, Driving Engagement

A listener called in thinking he’d reached ESPN. Our afternoon DJ caught it, but wasn’t sure how to use it. I saw the potential instantly and coached her through shaping it into a social format that went viral. This is what I love, spotting moments, encouraging talent, and helping turn great radio into content that connects far beyond the airwaves. It’s the kind of work that helps us hit millions of engagements every month.

Turning a Construction Milestone Into a Story People Actually Care About

This was a key moment for the Bolt Farm Treehouse. Guests and followers finally saw what goes into building a treehouse long before it ever touches the mountain. It built trust, deepened loyalty, and gave the audience something real to connect with.

This is the kind of work I do: take a quiet moment that most companies overlook and turn it into a story that builds brand love, strengthens identity, and moves viewers closer to becoming guests.

Helping Artists Tell the Stories They Never Share

Getting artists to open up about their work in new ways isn’t always easy. I created this short-form series during a visit from MercyMe, and it led to them sharing personal stories behind songs and albums they hadn’t talked about in years. What started as a fun, meaningful game is now paving the way for a long-form series built on honest, engaging conversations artists aren’t having anywhere else.

Turning Comments into Content

After we published a blog called “Top 10 Christian Artists Who Should Perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show,” Tauren Wells jokingly commented that he felt left out. I saw the opportunity right away to create a fun, cheeky apology reel. Tauren loved it, and so did our audience. Moments like this are exactly why I’m always encouraging our social media producers to think like creators. Great content often comes from unexpected places. You just need to be ready to move.

Top-of-Funnel Storytelling

Short-form video is the new top of the funnel in digital marketing. This reel is a great example of how I take standalone moments from long form content and shape them into compelling, bite-sized clips designed to reach people who don’t know the brand yet. It’s not just about trimming footage, it’s about creating intentional entry points that draw new audiences in and point them to what we do.

A Strategic Throwback That Worked

This idea started with a simple thought: what if I combined the nostalgic sound of ’90s Christian music with retro video games? I recreated all the in-game audio, and he concept landed. The band even reshared it, and now I’, turning it into a full series for Hope Nation. It’s a great example of how creativity, audience insight, and hands-on execution can come together to create something unexpected.

Making the Moment Happen

This concept was originally pitched by my Social Media Producer, but when she got sick the day of the event, I stepped in to make sure it still happened. I hit the red carpet, and pulled fun, authentic moments out of the artists. The response was instant, artists and listeners loved it.

How One Clip Became a Repeat Hit

This short clip came from a long-form video we created in partnership with one of our other brands. I pulled the most unexpected, attention-grabbing moment and turned it into a short-form piece that’s now been used three times, each version pulling in over a million views. It’s proof that when you know what hits, you don’t need to reinvent the wheel. You just need to keep using it the right way.

Fundraising That Feels Different

Every Christian radio station does on-air fundraising, but I want our campaigns to stand out. For this one, I wrote, shot, and ran a Support Drive Ad campaign for WayFM and their partnership with JoyJars, an organization that brings comfort to kids in the hospital with cancer. For every donation, we gave a JoyJar to a child in need. I love how this spot doesn’t feel like an ad, it’s heartfelt, memorable, and helped connect us to our audience in a way that truly set us apart from the noise

When a Team Idea Takes Off

This was a team effort from start to finish. I came up with the concept and produced the piece, while my social media manager handled the shoot and edit. The artist loved it so much he agreed to collaborate, and that moment helped launch a new short-form series that our audience has fully embraced. It’s a great example of what can happen when a strong idea, good teamwork, and the right creative execution come together.

Seeing the Moment Before It Happens

This interview was originally planned as just an on-air segment, but I knew the questions we were asking had potential to go far. I made sure we captured the entire conversation on video, setting up the set, producing the shoot, and editing the footage. It’s a great example of thinking ahead and building content that can connect across platforms.

When It Works, Work It Again

When a simple Facebook text post went viral, I saw an opportunity to extend its reach. I had my team turn it into a short form video: quick to make, easy to produce, and built on something we already knew was working. I’m always encouraging my team to think this way: repurpose successful content for new formats. It doesn’t take much time, but it can deliver big results.

Turning Long Form Content into Short Form Success

This is another example of how I take long-form content and break it down into short-form videos designed for reach. These social shorts are built to go wide, meeting new audiences where they scroll, not where we broadcast. It’s not just about cutting clips, it’s about identifying moments that spark curiosity, feel native to the platform, and lead people back to what we do.

Turning My Friends Into Models

This reel is part of a personal series I created: Turning My Friends Into Models. It’s a way for me to challenge myself creatively, push my photography forward, and spotlight the people around me in a new light.

Designing Moments That Build Community and Strengthen the Brand

For this Reel, I didn’t just show up with a camera. I built the entire moment from scratch, planning the pop-up, and creating a space where people felt seen and valued. My goal was simple: capture real stories, deepen the connection between Seth and his audience, and point people toward what he’s building next at Bolt Farm Treehouse.

The result was a highly successful piece of content and a genuinely meaningful event. Fans walked away lit up, talking about the experience, and sharing Seth’s next steps with their own circles.

This is the work I love: turning real moments into brand momentum, designing experiences that feel personal, and creating short-form content that builds trust, community, and anticipation.

Turning a Viral Post Into a Leadership Moment

When Forrest Frank’s post started blowing up, I knew my boss had a chance to enter the conversation with something real. I wanted Seth to film this himself with just a tripod talking directly to camera. I got this post up in over an hour, and because of our timeliness it blew up and brought in over 1,100 new followers.

The Ad You Didn’t See Coming

This is an ad I created for our Christian Hip Hop station that hit over 1 million views on TikTok. It’s organic, shareable, and effective in its simplicity. What I love most is that it doesn’t feel like an ad, you don’t even realize what it is until the very end. That’s the kind of advertising that works best. It grabs attention, earns trust, and delivers the message without forcing it.
